On Friday, May 31st, we received a surprise visit at the Devils Lake facility from Senator Heidi Heitkamp, the North Dakota junior senator. Senator Heitkamp is a big advocate for “green business”, especially one that can re-purpose an agriculture product like wheat straw and bring extra income to farmers. Needless to say, she was impressed and specifically with the amount of jobs that will be created in the area.
